Advocacy & Outreach Service
The Roshni Advocacy and Outreach service provides a voice for marginalised and vulnerable women, by offering them practical and emotional support. Through our work, we aim to empower the women to take control of their lives, to raise their self esteem and to enhance their life skills.
Aik Awaaz - This is a forum to bring together Asian Women's organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber region to share information, resources and work on common issues. The project also works closely with Southall Black Sisters and we have recently undertaken joint campaigning on the 'No Recourse to Public Funds' issue, to raise awareness and lobby the government for changes in the law.
