A number of our clients struggle in ESOL classes due to lack of educational backgrounds. Many of them would greatly benefit from one to one work with someone to learn the basics such as the alphabets and to practice their lessons.
Would you be interested to give one or two hours a week to give one to one attention to someone to help them learn English? You do not need to know the community languages for this volunteering position. You also don’t need to have any teaching experience. English is the biggest barrier to women's development. Your support can bring more benefit than you can imagine!
